This draft describes how the site is built today. Legal must review it before launch (PIPEDA / Nova Scotia).
What we collect
- Forms: what you type (name, phone or email, vehicle, notes). Links and code are removed before we keep it.
- Photos you choose to send: used for your quote and as a before-and-after record. Location data (GPS) is removed from JPG and PNG photos. Retention: [TBD-JAC with Legal].
- Bookings and payments: handled by Square, including the $25 deposit. Square's own privacy policy applies to card details. We never see your full card number.
- Texts and calls to 902-500-6149.
- Spam protection: a spam check (Cloudflare Turnstile) and short-lived records to stop repeat or fake requests, kept 30 days and stored as scrambled codes, not your actual number.
How we use it
To give you a price, book and do the job, and contact you about it. Car care tips or marketing just if you ticked the box, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
Who we share it with
The tools that run the business: Square (booking and payments), our customer records system, and Cloudflare (website hosting and spam protection). We don't sell your information.
